In the article "Will climate change get some respect now?" by  the writer Nicholas D. Kristof talks on how Democrat Barack Obama and republican Mitt Romney should talk more on weather, climate change and why it is important for us to discuss weather more often, and how the government can care less about the climate changes". In the article it states "Romney's past suggestion on FEMA be privatized particularly ridiculous (that's almost as bizarre as Michael Brown, the FEMA director during hurricane Sandy, scolding Obama for responding to sandy "so quickly")". This shows that our republican and weather control are uncaring towards the weather changes. The article also say "climate changes adds moisture to the atmosphere which may mean that storms come with more rain and more flooding " which tells us that there will be worse storms heading our way and there's no talk or caring on it. I think the government is unreliable because they aren't doing their jobs and helping out the ones who are ignorant to what they know. This article reminds me of two teenage girls fighting to be school president and telling us promises they cant keep or just worrying so much about attention that what we want isn't really important anymore.

  1. Great post Rynira. You really picked out some strong quotes from the article and I especially like your metaphor at the end. 100
